Western supply of weapons to Ukraine, HIMARS, ammunition and Zelensky’s sudden regime purge:

In recent days, Ukraine’s Zelensky has purged a number of high positions in his government. This action got the public-nod-of-approval from USA. The shakeup in Zelensky’s regime signals multiple things.

1. This was initiated and demanded by the US. This means the Americans are not happy about something. The most likely case is the handling of western weapons and the corruption surrounding the sale of NATO weapons to the black market and possibly, to Russia. (there’s no evidence of any weapons being bought by Russia, only rumours)

2. Zelensky is experiencing an attempt of Regime Change/coup within his own regime. The likely case is the nationalists in his ‘government’ wanting to take over and escalate the conflict.

3. There’s a reason why Russia has not tried to get rid of Zelensky. His sheer incompetency and mismanagement actually serves the Russians. A coup by the nationalists would put Russia in a tougher position. USA propped up Zelensky way too much to back a coup against him, they have put way too many resources into him and his campaign. The US government propaganda made Zelensky into a hero in western press, so his position must be maintained; therefore a coup attempt against Zelensky would be highly alarming to the Americans & would have to be dealt with immediately — aka do a high rank purge of the people behind him, and even his biggest campaign sponsors.

Weapons, HIMARS & Ammunition:

Ukraine is now very close to completely running out of their ammunition supplies for Soviet-calibre weapons. The caliber Ukraine needs is only made by 2 European countries which cannot match the production needed for the war in Ukraine. Ukraine is now completely dependent on western ammunition supplies to keep its forces on the battlefield. This presents a huge issue for Ukraine and gives the US even more control of the conflict.

HIMARS systems in Ukraine have received worldwide attention. The media made them into a wonder-weapon. The facts on the ground are however different. While HIMARS is a capable weapon, it is a precision missile system after all— it does not change Ukraine’s position on the ground. They continue to be pushed back and suffer heavier and heavier casualties as Russians move forward. Russia’s offensive and advance is not affected by this weapon for one simple reason: it serves as a distraction for the fact that NATO cannot supply the weapon that would actually change the situation on the ground and make a dent in Russias ground offensive: that weapon is artillery. Ukrainian military is suffering heavy losses to Russian artillery. They have no counter to it and cannot match Russian firepower even if NATO transferred most of their systems to them — which they will not do.

NATO currently cannot match Russia’s production capability and stock numbers when it comes to artillery/ammunition due to cost and lack of infrastructure to do so.

According to western media, Russia’s war in Ukraine has shown how flawed and incapable the NATO weapons production is when push came to shove.

NATO’s weapon production and supply never faced any issues in the past, NATO only started conflicts with countries that could not economically withstand an attack on their territory and had no major allies to support them and defend them. Now that NATO merely looks in the face of an equal power in terms of military & production capability, their deficiency is starting to show.
