Effective March 25th in Alberta, parents can no longer access their child's medical information after the child turns 12 without their consent.

 

“After you turn 12 years old, your parent or authorized representative will no longer have automatic proxy access to your account. If you are 14 years of age or older, you can use your Alberta ID or a learner’s permit to sign up for an http://Alberta.ca Account. You will need this to sign into MyAHS Connect.”
