🇨🇦💉@COVID19Up: The federal government of Canada is set to announce Tuesday (June 14) an end to the COVID-19 vaccine mandates for domestic travel on planes and trains, as well as outbound international travel, according to CBC News.
The government has been under pressure from the opposition parties and even Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s own party ()—as well as industry organizations—to relax the more controversial public health measures.
The COVID-19 vaccine mandates for travel have been in effect since October 30, 2021. As the mandate was phased in, travelers had only a one-month grace period where they could instead provide proof of a negative SARS-CoV-2 test.
