Honduran Illegal Immigrant Accused of Raping 14-Year-Old Louisiana Girl at Knifepoint

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Officers found Castellanos-Orellana at the scene of the crime, “covered in blood.” The suspect was arrested on one count of armed robbery, aggravated battery, first-degree rape and aggravated assault.

Fox 8 Live reports that a “federal ‘ICE’ detainer was issued as well.”

Police Chief Keith Conley noted that Castellanos-Orellana has used multiple aliases in the past, including Elven Locket.

Chief Conley added that the limited documentation and vetting being done by border patrol agents and the lack of tracking of illegal immigrants hinders law enforcement efforts to ensure the safety of American citizens. He said:

“This case highlights the challenges faced by local law enforcement when dealing with illegal immigrants. Limited access to data, false identification, and language barriers hinder our efforts. The arrest of Castellanos-Orellana brings relief to our community, but concerns remain about potential future crimes and identity changes.”
