Icelandic midfielder Emil Pálsson collapsed on the soccer pitch after suffering cardiac arrest during a match in Norway Monday, with much speculation the Covid-19 vaccine is to blame.
The 28-year-old player’s heart is reported to have stopped during the match.
In a press release from the player’s team Sogndal Football, Palsson was said to have required “resuscitation” before being airlifted to a nearby hospital:
More from Agence-France Presse:
Icelandic midfielder Emil Palsson collapsed during a football game in Norway’s second division Monday evening after suffering a cardiac arrest, his football club Sogndal said.
The 28-year-old midfielder suddenly fell over in the 12th minute of the game against Stjordals-Blink at the Fosshaugane Campus stadium in western Norway. “
“Emil Pálsson had a cardiac arrest in the 12th minute of play. Palsson was successfully resuscitated, and then flown to Haukeland Hospital for further examination and treatment,” club Sogndal Football said in a statement.
The match was subsequently postponed.
Following the incident, Norwegian media was criticized for airing the medical team’s resuscitation efforts on live television, which they claimed was a mistake.
“This is a single camera broadcast,” explained Discovery Networks Norway Communications Director Martin Hinsch. “The photographer thought the broadcast was off, which is why he zoomed in on the situation like a news photographer.”
“Of course, this shouldn’t have happened while the broadcast was in progress and we can only apologize to the people involved and the viewers.”
While it’s unclear whether the Icelandic footballer’s sudden heart attack was prompted by a Covid-19 jab, vaccine researcher Alex Berenson highlightedthe player’s collapse on his blog as highly suspicious, especially given Iceland’s high vaccination rate.
“Another day, another professional soccer player has an on-field cardiac arrest,” Berenson wrote.
“This time in Norway. His name is Emil Palsson; he’s 28, and Icelandic. No report on whether he is vaccinated, but Iceland has near-complete adult vaccinations; 84% of people 16-29 are fully vaccinated.”
The player’s emergency comes weeks after Denmark player Christian Eriksen also collapsed suddenly on the pitch during a Euros 2020 match.
Eriksen “later had an a implantable cardioverter defibrillator device – a type of pacemaker – fitted,” reported BBC.
On Monday, Infowars also reported on an on-field incident involving Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero, who also collapsed on the field during a game over the weekend.
Back in July, Infowars also broke news that two Cricket players from the West Indies had also collapsed on the field. In that instance, all team players had reportedly been vaccinated.
If the vaccine isn’t causing all of these otherwise healthy athletes to collapse and suffer bizarre heart complications, then what is?
