It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear friend, fellow outspoken nurse, and one of our biggest supporters Trish McLeod.
Trish passed away unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by family on March 27, 2023.
Trish’s nursing career started in 1991 where she worked in many fields from long term care to a nursing management position. Trish’s goal was to improve conditions in the health care system and she became a fierce advocate in her health community.
Trish became disheartened with the health care field early on in 2020 and connected with Canadian Frontline Nurses shortly after our inception. We were honoured to have her as our Manitoba team lead. Trish’s absence will be felt within our organization.
We want to thank Trish for all her hard work and sharing her heart with us.
