Mississippi moms of children scared by employees at their daycare center were gratified to learn rogue workers were fired.

Lil’ Blessings Child Care & Learning Center in Hamilton, Miss., fired four employees shown scaring young children in their care. A video captured masked employees yelling at children and chasing them while telling them they better be good was posted Wednesday evening.

Children may be seen and heard crying in the video that has since gone viral on social media. Obviously terrified youngsters may also be seen running away from the masked employee while another employee announces which children acted bad.

The masked employee yells to one child, “Are you being bad? Do I need to take you outside?” and screams while a coworker laughs. The child hides his face before replying, “No.” The employee loudly admonishes him, “You better be good.”

At times, the masked employee got just inches away from children’s faces before raising her voice and screaming, according to a Monroe Journal report.

Daycare owner Sheila Snader claimed she was unaware of the videos until Wednesday, according to the report. Snader, who has owned the business for 20 years, said she does not tolerate behavior exhibited in the disturbing video.

“I contacted my licensure, and she has gotten involved,” Sanders said to the Journal. “The people that did those acts are no longer with us. They were fired. I wasn’t here at the time and wasn’t aware they were doing that. I don’t condone that and never have. I just want to say it’s been taken care of.”

The incident is reportedly under investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the state’s Department of Health.

“I know 100% that Ms. Sheila, the owner and director, was not aware of this situation that was going on and as soon as she found out, all parties were terminated immediately,” said Kimberly Smith, the mother of one child who appears in a video. “The witch hunt that has been going on for her and the other ones still here, it really needs to stop. Was the situation that did happen horrible? Absolutely.”

“But should this daycare be shut down and others be villainized that are still here, absolutely not,” Smith continued. “Am I okay with what happened to the extent of what happened? Absolutely not, but I know she took care of it, and my babies are safe here.”

Chas Allen, a parent of a prekindergarten student at Lil’ Blessings, expressed similar support.

“This place is pretty important for Hamilton because it’s a small town and there’s not really another childcare facility close,” said Allen. “A lot of people are saying, ‘Shut it down. Shut it down,’ but I don’t think they’re thinking about the implications that that might have. If there was a daycare next door, I would still bring my kids here.”
